End of an Era (Club #009)

What is Club #009 you may ask yourself, well if you don't know then you're about to know, n****. Club 9 is the affectionate name given to a place by the fortunate few which have had the chance opportunity to be employed by BJ's Wholesale Club on Brighton-Henrietta Town Line Road.

Why do I care so much about a stupid job that did nothing more than buy me groceries and girls gone wild dvd's in college? Well I guess it was more of a grease-free hang-out job more than anything, where I was able to work alongside some of Henreitta's finest, including but not limited to Miss Alexandra McKean, Stephanie, Susan and of course Colin every Sunday morning.

Ahh good times for sure, writing this makes me pine for stories of extramarital affairs and swimming "accidents", sex-toy parties, lusting over each other's grandparents and Asian mafia members. Also working at aforementioned establishment allowed for the gratuitous albeit necessary response to the query, "what do you do?" Oh.... I work for BJ's -- to which my Uncle Frank responded at one family Christmas Eve Dinner a few years past, "What man doesn't?"

Congrats to my Uncle who has set the bar even higher for me with his successes by being named President of him company, Elliot Turbomachinery. Too bad he has to move to PA from London, but at least he'll be closer to the rest of the family here and in Buffalo. Oh, and yes, this is the same Uncle that wrote Tony Casillo's Family Cookbook, head over to Amazon.com or the bookstore and pick up a copy! Posted by Picasa
